hehe, i think out of those answers, I got my answer: no, yes, stupid question, let's go on to something funnier :-)
But yeah, Jmorris, that's what I do too and it sounds good.
And Rami, the question was, should I be layering triangles?

Thanks guys:eek:

Like a few others have said, the best, and in my opinion, ONLY way to so-called "layer" is NOT to copy and paste and move, etc....You have to track it twice..You need to record the part twice and pan to taste. Copying and pasting is the lazy way and doesn't even come close in fullness.

layering???

is that the same as getting laid while a Gregorian choir in the background chants "bee-bop-a-lu-la, be my baby"........

and isn't the "triangle" a famous position of the Kama Sutra????

:D:D:D:D:D:D

Seriously, it all depends. It's like asking if people normally use saxophone or piano. If it's Gregorian chants, the answer is no. If it's rockabilly, the answer is yes.

Layering is big in harder rocks and heavier metals, and in pop vocals by people who can't sing. In jazz, country or reggae, not so much. etc. etc. etc.
