Hello, I just purchased an iBook, and I was wondering if there were any type of Monitors I could use that would plug into them somehow, that were quality so I could mix well on them? The Harman Kardon are nice speakers, but would that be the right move to get something like these:

I do have some ProAc, older monitors, on them it says P 02496, but I am not sure if that is the model number or what, and obviously they wouldn't be able to plug into my computer so I just plug them into the back of a cheap RadioShack Power Amp.

Any advice concerning ways I could plug my ProAc monitors into my iBook, or what new monitors I should get that I COULD plug into the iBook, would be very much appreciated.

Desperately Seeking Answers,
Chris

I think what I would need to plug it into the iBook is a 1/8 plug or something like that. I could very well be wrong.

You need a cable that on one end is a 1/8" (35mm) stereo male (that'll plug into the laptop), and the other end (depending on the inputs of your amp/monitors) of the cable will be a male left AND a right RCA OR a male left and right 1/4". ;)
