Is the ksm 27 worth the extra $150 for vocals/ guitar?

Its a bit smoother. Ive used both. I liked the KSM27 better. Is it 150 dollars better? Thats up to you. I'd say if its your first LDC, get the b1 and skip the 27. The b1 really sounds great on guitar, and works well with vox. The ksm27 is a bit smoother on vox.

If you're serious about getting good recordings, then absolutely, it is worth the extra $$, and it's a bargain when you consider the quality you get.
