KM 84 overheads

Hi all,
I know that the best thing to do is use your ears, but can anyone give me some starting points for a stereo pair of drum overheads (KM 84s). I have the choice between these or some 414s. I will try both, but ive heard the Neumanns and they are nice. Distance, positions etc Thanks
