Another solid mix. I like this song too.

Let's try to find some nits though, 'cause otherwise what's the point of feedback?

The "hey"s seem a little week. They sound like they should be big and gang-chorusy, but it's not as big as I'd think it should be.

The main vox sound like they have a bit more reverb than what matches the rest of the instruments.

Thanks VHS. The main vocals don't have much reverb on them, but I did use a tweaked delay. The idea was to make em sound kind of "spacey", not in a roomy reverb sense, but in an outer space kind of way. Lol. I dunno.

The hey's were tricky. It seems simple, just shout "hey" right? It didn't work like that. I wanted em to be quick and tight, not sloppy, and making them big sounding just didn't sound right when I was working on it. I might go back and play with them more as i'm not 100% thrilled with them either.

I don't dabble or float around trying different things. I just do what I do.

You should branch out and try some "Math-core".

Ease into it by starting with some "Spelling-core".

I'm starting a "Geography/History-core" band. I'm getting too old to rock any "Phys.Ed-core" anyway.

I'd nitpick on levels. I thought the lead vocal was a bit out in front - I'd bring it down just a bit. There was another guitar doing a little riff thing in some of the transitions. I'd bring that up a bit. Maybe bump the snare a smidge? not sure about that.

I'm starting to like yer stuff, Greg. You know I'm not real into punk but I do respect it. The tones are very good. I also caught the reverse vocal build up. Sounded like a snippet of a Nuremberg rally or some other god-forsaken mass mob. Very cool - very effective.

This is my new favourite of yours. Love the lead guitar over the top during the chorus. That crowd sound at the entry to the chorus is cool. Bass may be a tad light? - but I'm on puny speakers so possibly not. Another great job all round. This would go down real well at my local on a Saturday night.

Just had a listen to you Munsters cover - haha that is classic. You really nailed the verby guitar sound. That was always my favourite theme tune along with, Mission Impossible, The Sweeney and Hawaii-5-O

A little less vocal & a little more bass would suit my personal taste but, as it is, this rocks right out of the box.
My wife went to a music shop to buy me an xmas gift years back. She'd discovered me looking at flangers in a catalogue so she walked in and asked for a "FLANGER" pronounced as in WANGer.
She came home with a very nice effects unit. After Xmas she told me the story and how all the blokes in the music shop smile when she walks in because they know there's every chance she drop another clanger (pron like wanger this time).

Those are good questions. Drums are definitely much more physically demanding than any other instrument, and they're a pain in the ass to haul, set up, and tear down. Seriously, being a gigging drummer can really suck. I'm not sure why I do it. I've recruited a few "roadie" types over the years though that make it much more enjoyable. I pay them with beer. If we play an all-ages club, I know these high school kids that are happy to help me out. Not that I'm some rock star or anything, but they feel important getting to go up on stage and hand me cymbals and shit. Lol.

I started out on guitar and bass. I banged around on those two instruments for a few years as a teenager, and then my sister got a drum kit from my cousins. Why? I don't know. She never played them. They sat in her room for months and months. I always had my eye on those things. So whenever she'd leave to go to the mall or a friends house or whatever, I'd bust into her room and figured out how to play them. No lessons, no sheet music, no rudiments, I just learned em on my own. After a little while my sister caught on and complained to my mom. My mom made an executive decision - the drums became mine. I moved them to my room and got a little better. All the while, I had a grimy little punk rock band going in which I played guitar. The drummer for that band was actually really good, so he showed me some stuff. The brother of the bassist in my grimy little punk rock band was a few years older than us and he wanted to start a psychobilly band. At this time, no one, very few people knew what psychobilly was. There was The Cramps and a few others, but not much. He needed a drummer. I was like "sure whatever", I love psychobilly, and I never looked back. I drummed for that band for years and we toured and did all kinds of crazy shit. I haven't seriously played guitar in a band ever since. I've played bass in a few bands. I guess my thing is that guitar players are a dime-a-dozen. Too many guitar players in the world. Most bassists are just frustrated guitar players. A real bassist is pretty hard to find, but bass is so boring to me that I don't even bother with it. Steady, reliable rock and roll drummers are very rare so I guess that's the void I try to fill. I do enjoy drumming and I do it more than anything else, but I don't know if that's what I'm best at. I'm probably pretty equal on guitar and drums. I'm just as comfy on either instrument for the music I play. I'm probably best on bass. I can rock the fuck out of some bass. But like I said, it's boring as hell.

Hell yeah, rocks!! 'nuff said......I do agree with Rays comment however, that possibly just a tad less vox and a lil' more guitar(for me) and bass might just push this a bit harder and give it some edge!
