So I have a yamaha kx8 connected via USB to my iMac. I am using Garage Band. I want to be able to monitor the keyboard and Apogee One internal mic at the same time. I talked to Apogee about it and they said it is possible if you create the keyboard as another aggregate device. Only problem is it doesn't show up as an input on the midi control. I can unplug the apogee, restart, and the keyboard still functions in garage band even though it doesn't show up. Help!

Is it just me, or does anyone else not understand what the issue is?

Step one: Plug in keyboard to USB input on iMac.
Step two: Plug in Apogee to USB input on iMac.
Step three: Set an instrument track (haven't loaded up GB in awhile, but on Logic, it's an instrument track), choose your instrument sound.
Step four: Set an audio track, with the Apogee as the input.

You may have to set as record enable, or if there's an option for input monitoring (don't recall), but as long as neither track is muted, both will be passed to your monitors...

Don't setup a MIDI track, unless you are plugging in with MIDI cables.

Problem is if I try to monitor each track it only monitors the one I select. Apogee say I need to add the keyboard as another aggregate device just like ONE is listed, but it doesn't show up.
