I agree they do tend to sucker people in with cheap prices then nail them with all of the extras and software after they buy it... but I don't think that's the problem in my case. I should have everything to record already. On Line 6 Monkey it tells me everything I have and don't have. I have the drivers, USB Firmware, FX Junkie, GearBox, Pod Farm, and Line 6 Monkey. Is that not enough? The only things I don't have are the packs with different amp modules (or so it says). If I didn't have something I needed to record wouldn't they be pushing their product on me? I can't even find whatever I need in order to record on the website OR the software. Thank you for all of the help I'm just REALLY trying to get this thing to work out before i return it.
The reason for that being... I have a small mixer a friend gave to me that id hook up my Vox amplifier and record with. I'm in a band and its kind of a hassle to lug my amp (with pedals and chords) around from gig, to practice, to home (especially since we gig and practice quite often). It would be a lot easier to have an all in one package (the UX2) at home, and just leave my gear at our practice space where everything else is anyway. Just the reasoning behind my desperation to get this thing working. If anyone knows anything comparable to the UX2 or something that would work for my situation feel free to let me know.
