I'm New to this forum and just wanted to say Hi.

Name is AL.

I've been a musician for nearly 20 year's now, and I still don't know crap Mainly keyboard and guitar.

Been writing/recording and producing my own music for the last 5 year's.
(yeah, it took me 15 year's to actually write something good enough to record) HAHAHAHAHA

I use cool edit pro 2 for my main recording software and wavelab to do my mastering stuff.

Oddly enough I get excellent result's for just winging it.

Hi, I'm Dave,... and I'm a gear-aholic.

I'm a die hard advocate of analog recording, although I've dabbled in digital, for laughs. The majority of my ultra-huge, over-the-top collection of recording gear is analog, with a only few "token" digital units to my name.

I'm mostly interested in the Tascam Forum, Analog Forum, Fostex Forum, Minidisc, Guitars/Basses, Newbies and Recording Technique Forums, and the rest of them can go hang five, AFAIC. The Dragon Cave, too, when I'm reeaaallllllyyy bored, you might find me there.

People call me "Davemania", but it's a long story. Not really long, but maybe the subject of another post. If the buzz ever dies out about Davemania, I make sure to mention it again. Haha. I've made a lot of friends on this board, and I hope you do to. HRcom is my "home page" bbs, and all the others pale in comparison, although you'll also find me on RPcom and tascamforums bbs. There are a lot of good people,... highly talented people,... on this board, although I'm not necessarily an exceptional talent, myself. I get by, and exist at my own level, in music & home recording. I'm in it for fun,... & the chicks. Heh.

I could mention the scores of people on this board that I really like, or I could save a lot of time and mention the few people I dislike,... but I won't go there.

You've met Track Rat, Green Hornet, and me, and the three of us pretty much run this place. That's all you need to know, and you can call it a day.
