I have in my possession five Maxell XLII 90 cassettes that near as I can determine are unused. One is very straightforward, it's still in its wrapper. The other four probably I opened ten years ago or so in preparation of a stack of cassettes for live recording, when I had to change tapes every 20 minutes, but they went unused, and somehow before the next show I didn't bother to see if I had any empties from the last show. I mean who cared, they were like $3 for a 6-pack at any CVS.
Anyway, my trusty Tascam CD-A500 is unable to find any cue points on these tapes, so I'll assume they are empty. Pity I opened them, as apparently these are now each worth slightly more than an ounce of gold if unopened . . .
