chrisharris - If you're lookin' for your pajamas, I can't help you! And how can you "gig" with the lacerated finger? Your holding out on me here...........
lol...like I told Jamal, I played guitar like a wounded seal...only with less dexterity. I can chord some with a thumbpick...not in time or anything, and I hit some strings hard enough to recoil them off the feedback buster, while missing some of the "more important" strings all together...FUCK, I'D ALMOST FORGOTTEN ABOUT THAT...THANKS FOR BRINGIN' IT UP AGAIN THERE, BUDDY!!! :D

hey jcmm

nice job on the tune..

your getting a very cool guitar tone on distorted channel

cool song... sounds really nice...

you guys Rock!

Thumbs Up

Good remix-You used the drum reverb idea! I like it-The chorus sounds fuller too. One thing I noticed is the snare seems heavy on the left side-giving the drums a strange kinda space--Also the vocals get drowned out a bit from the 3rd verse on through the chorus-then they pick up again--If you lower the key part a bit the vocals would prob sit better--Almost seems like the key part would have more impact being lower- Nice vocals...dang--This sounds warmer than the other version. Just my humble opinions of course. Though I liked the original as well-the vocs were more upfront on that version.

Unusual opening. No intro, vocals in on the 2nd beat. I LIKE it!!!(kudos to Jamal, nice vocals, good feel and interpretation for the lyric.

Bottom end is perfect! Stellar bassline!

Drums are ok, but I'd think about dumping the cymbals on the bridge @ 1:54 ( mp3 time); They are overkill in this section and detract from when you do use this tool effectively to properly accent other musical content.

Guitar intonation problem begins at 1:19 and a few other places but not abrasive enough to warrant a re-take.

Anyway to up the whole thing a couple of db @ the modulation @ 3:00 to slam it home?! Right now it's an off the wall double. Either way, I'd also consider a copy & paste of the drum flam @ 0:37 to close the door @ 2:59!

Nice organ patch @ 2:09, used stratigically and placed well in the mix.

Formidable collab guys!
