Im recording vocals on a Shure SM57 onto CEPro.
The end result is great but it doesn't have much bass to it. I dont want to EQ it in CE, but I would rather fix the problem as Im recording. I am 100% broke(and in college) so I dont have the option to get a preamp for my mic.
Could I do this...
Plug the mic into the Input of my guitar amp. Then play around with the EQ settings on the amp and run a cable from the output to my soundcard.
Wouldn't that basically be the same as a preamp?
any thoughts?
