I have recently decided to start recording again, so i bust out my Presonus Inspire 1394, i have set up my inspire (i also use Cubase LE) in the same manner wich i have in the past and i have found that my cpu would not reconise that the inspire has been attached to the cpu.
this is not hte first time i have had this problem, prevously all i had to do was go to the 'devises' tab in Cubase, then to setup, and change the AISO driver setup.
however now when i attempt to set up my AISO driver, the fact that my Inspire is not reconised does not change. And infact when i go to the Inspire AISO driver, a window pops up and tells me that i do not have an external sound devise is connected to the PC.
Does anyone have any ideas about how i could solve this problem.
FYI, i have also turned off my firewire, thinking that this may be somehow blocking the connection, but so far i have had no success.
