Nice mix. What sort of verb/space did you put on those drums?

The vocal seems a little obstructed - narrow frequency wise - could be more out front with some space around it; same comment on the background vocals.

The flange on the left channel rhythm guitar is a little harsh.

Take it all with a grain of salt since I'm listening on headphones.

I like the song, very professional writing and recording. My comments are more personal preference/niggles than anything else.

Hey Phyl, i actually agree you on the vocals being kind of narrow it didn't start off that way but after some effecting it seemed to have really cut it down. And that guitar is harsh depending on what im listening through so i tryed to guess at a reasonable level.

The drums are just some samples and the reverb is waves rverb (bathroom setting) and auxed to a distortion plugin called predatohm made by ohm boyz, thanks alot for the comments.

I would add a second rhythm during the chorus, it would help break up the left-ish positoning of the main rhythm guitar and add a little extra something to the 'feeling'. The drums are a little too bright, especially the kick. If you can trim some of the highs from the kick you'd probably be alright (sounds too 'drum machine' as it is).

I like the guitar tones and solid playing. You could probably use some of the homerecording.com patented panning techniques to pull this out of the hard-pan dungeon.

One of the better recordings I've heard today, and more 'my taste' :D.

Nice ending.

Hey Pinky, thanks a ton for the comments.

I really like the guitar panning trick you posted, ive done similar with back up vocals never used it on a guitar track though im gonna get on that now see how that works.

Yeah the drums are drum machineish, at first on purpose cause i always figured im using drum sequencers and samples so im kinda screwed in the getting a 'live drum' feel so let them do what they do best, be drum machines lol. Ill work on that too though specially the kick drum when i soloed it out it does kinda have an odd high end ring to it.

Thanks alot again
