My wife and I really liked that... thanks....
Thanks amigo. My wife and I really liked that
Gives me an idea... I've got to start bringing my internet laptop out of the studio and putting it on our family room system to play some of the interesting stuff I find here for my wife. That way she might say, "hey, find any cool music today?" instead of "you spend too much time online."!
i might go and record some of my harder trombone studies actually...Can't disagree with you there. Some of the accented high notes and the ending chords are pretty wet sounding. At the time this was done I liked more reverb and asked the mastering guy for more-more-more. If I were to ever re-release it I'd use less. Good ears 47ronin and ecktronic.just back off on the verb a tiny bit
Nice..very nice.Timothy Lawler said:El Colibri
Recorded this before I became gear crazed - w/Shure BG 4.0 mic's using pre's of an old Yamaha MT3X multitrack. Composed by Julio Sagreras.

Yeah, I could remix the reverb but guess I see the recording as somewhat ‘fixed I time’ as part of a past CD project… I like the feel of the performance on the take but I’d probably just go ahead and retrack it if I wanted a changed version, since I don’t have the same limitations with gear and room that I did then, and I like my playing a little better now. I put it up in the forum mainly because I thought it had some odd similarities with some of the metal work here, though I couldn’t describe exactly what they are...But it sounds like you don't have the option of remixing this. Is that right?
), at least I could say “Hey John… did you build that guitar you’re playing?.... no?.... too bad, man!”
