Hey wats going on every one im from new orleans (yes im still here) i jus joined a little earlier to the site although i have been to the site many time well my question is about composing i have take 2 yrs of piano and i dont know how to formulate my own songs i know about chords but not wat to do with them but most importantly i want to know how to make the chord not so one toned by arrpegiating them which i know how to do but when ever i do it within the progressions it doesnt sound good or right and lastly,: after or even before i create the harmony how can i come up with a good melody to either help bring about the chord progression or jus help come up with a good standing melody sry if i sound kinda newbie

Plenty of practice is what you need to do. Get into it. Put aside a month or something and try to play and write or whatever 12 hours a day.

Any Monkey is talking about the easy days. ;) Work VERY hard at it. You need to try catching up with the folks who have been doing it all their lives. Learn from others but most of all, just work hard at it. The good news is that it's very enjoyable so the time passes quickly. We wish you the best of luck.

study songs that you like and analyze their structure.

Unrelated, but you might wanna look into getting a new keyboard (computer, not music). It appears your ".", "h", and caps keys are on the fritz.
