What bass did you use?

I always liked The Cure bass lines. I think Simon Gallup is a great player, cause he is so right for his group. And he occupies big space with beautiful melodies. He has a fat tone, yet it's not in your face, rock'n'roll. I really wish to aproximate his tone.
 
I did a cover of the Foo Fighters "My hero" on Nowhere...Just look up "Hotknife" under alternative
 
Bruce, nice job w/the Cure! It's hard to duplicate Robert Smith's vocals, and you give it a good shot.


dachay, a wonderful version of a classic song. I'm a little put off by the tambourine. I wished it would stop so I could just mellow out to the voices!!!

gman - thanks for the positive feedback. I'll give some thought to axing the tamborene. We originally used it as a click track, and I kinda liked it, so I left it in.

But the cover of Let's Go to Bed isn't mine, I only did the vocals for Jake....... I don't have a link to the clip!

Speaking of which -- hey Jake....! Are you interested in sending me the WAVs for that tune?
