I don’t think I could ever trust a mix on any earbuds I’ve ever had on. Only since Covid, when I had my studio in an apartment, have I begun to use headphones on a mix.

i appreciate what you are saying but personally i go for these buds , i have good headphone & near field monitors
but i feel i get the best results from these cheap AKG s i have posted a few songs here so you can check the quality
& i would be interested in your comments on the sound quality

Love this arrangement, so different from the original (which I love also).
I see you're going to retrack the vocals, so I'm looking forward to hearing how that turns out. Not commenting on the mix as I'm away from home and listening on the phone/buds.
