I like the feel of the SR basses, but I'm also a complete Ibanez whore. Watch out for the cheaper models--those scrawny necks are great for playability, but they tend to have some quick bowing issues. Their five strings are much more reinforced, though, so you shouldn't have as many problems.

Yep, I like the feel of the neck on the Soundgears. Similiar to my Guild that I have had for just about forever. I just need a five string for one project, so I don't want to spend a ton, but don't want a POS either.....

He's lying!! You'll be much better off sending me that 5 string (along with that MOTU you've got for sale) in exchange for....for.....er.....hell, I don't own anything cool. How about some McNuggets coupons?

So far, it's not bad. I like the sound of my Guild with EMG's better, but maybe just because I am used to it.
The Ibanez plays nice though, and I like the new "B" string - although I still like G-strings the best - LOL
edit - well, after going from my Aguilar 1 x 12" to my Goliath SR cab - WOW! What a difference! The Aguilar just can't reproduce the "b" string nearly as well as the SWR cab.
