I wanna listen!

Chris,

Hmmm, maybe a bit much de'ssing? 'thanding my ground', etc. Almost none of the S's or St combinations are thumped. 'I couldn't thee through my fear', 'pathing through'

Otherwise, the levels are just about right, might bring the eq down a bit, mix is a bit bright.

Like the tune, as usual ;)

Hey Jordo,

You didn't turn on any playback permissions for 'Why Do I'! Let me know when you have and I'll have a listen.

flapo1,

Listened to Bruma, since it mentioned Floyd (I always liked Floyds improvization).

Everything about it is likeable for the typical Floyd feel, only the bass + drums are a tiny bit high and front for the mix. Definately a cool instrumental!

Lead vocal after 3:28 is burried behind the harmony vocals, bring it a bit forward so whatever is sung can be heard!

beezelbubba,

Listened to On Crack 'cause I think it's the only one I haven't heard yet! Listening flat, it seems to lack low-end, bass almost inaudible. Snare's a bit poppy, but not much.

If I eq the lows way high, I can begin to hear the bass, or how I would expect to hear it when listening flat. Normally, if I cranked the low end, walls would be shaking.

Kick ass thrash, made me bang a bit ;)

Is it really that bad? It sounds like my "s's" are "th's"?

Like the tune, as usual ;)

Thankee! Thanks for the listen and contructive comments! You've got a good ear and give good feedback.

W.

Take care,
Chris

In alot of places, yep, sometimes the S sounds good, but the t's invisable, so you get a 'sanding my ground' bit to it...

¡ Yo Waldo !

They are supposed to be checked, however it appears they have been changed at some point, because the permissions are no-longer there! Try resetting them.

W.

What browser are you using? It appears the javascript that controls the permissions is not functioning for you.

Anywho, the download has been enabled, but not the streaming. I'll download and get back to you.

Jordo,

Really cute! lol You can tell the accordian is synthed, but the mix is pretty well done, nothing to complain about, other than maybe knock down the synth accordian a notch.

Definately a popping tune ;) My new theme song!

Erik O.,

Listened to Guess So, 0:30, 1:00, 2:00, etc. vocals a touch high on the ear, mostly due to the note I figure. Once the vocal melody begins the variation, it's not so hard on the ears.

Bass is pretty hidden in the back and quiet while listening flat. I've been noticing this alot lately with mixes on this board, you guys must be mixing with bass enhanced speakers or bass boost on! The synth section before 2:00 could be dropped a bit, or eq'd lower, little tough on the ear.

Melow swing this one.. Never heard of Nikolaj Norfund myself, but not a bad writer.

W.

Thanks a mill for listening, Waldo.

I can only answer for myself : If I subconciously lowered the bass to much, it must have been in order to hide that it's actually an el.guitar with boosted low end :).
I'm not proud of the overall sound, but the next buy from my part will definitely be a real bass.

Thanks again,
Erik
