The DI box is superfluous in this situation. A DI box is used where you have an impedance conversion requirement (e.g. guitar pickup) or where you have two items earthed (grounded) causing a hum loop, and you want to lift one earth. With a speaker, the impedance is (very) low so you would simply connect the terminals to a 1/4" phone plug, like Adam says, but plug straight into the 1/4" input jack on your mixer or preamp.Adam P said:"Wire the positive and negative terminals of the speaker to a 1/4" plug. Plug into a DI box. Run DI box to preamp. Fin."
