What do you mean by that? It doesn't make any sense...

I meant 'dream' in the sense that it's something that you have wanted to do for a while. I think we can see you're a pretty serious teenager. It's refreshing.I
No. America isn't a dream for me. I'm, in contrast to most of the child at my age, much more graduate and serious. I'm not the one who's being impressed by things he sees in movies or serieses
Well, from a biblical perspective, Hebrew is an interesting language. But what I meant was that Moresound was being pretty progressive to go to the trouble of finding something in someone else's language in the attempt to say something encouraging. That's refreshing !What's pretty progressive? The Hebrew language?

I thought the Jewish people were known for their sense of humor. Maybe they have to go West before they can buy one.![]()
Yes. I will explain what I meant.
Most of my life are related more to the U.S. than Israel.
I'll tell you why. I buy more things in the US, I speak more English than Hebrew, I watch more American movies than Israelian, I like the American culture, Things that I like are more reachable there, everything is in big - not like a toy, I'm interested in programming that works better in the US, I want to study there because the classifications there is more respected worldwide and much more. I know that there are also many advantages for living in Israel but I still think that I prefer America.
And many people I know told me how fun they had there when they were there on a trip - so if make a survey, like 100% of the people that were there came back fully satisfied.
In other words I'm more connected to the US with my everday needs.
Everything I'm searching I do that in English. I'm sure you got it.
Sounds goodI wanted to make sure you weren't moving to the U.S. solely aiming for a career as a singer (no offense, but I was going to give you a reality check before you made a big mistake)
But remember, friends may have had fun there on a trip, but it's a whole different ballgame when you're emigrating and trying to start a life...it's no vacation.
Hey,
Sorry to update after so much time has passed since the last message in this topic was sent.
A quick reminder:
You all know that I now have the M Audio Fast Track Pro, MXL 990. Use this mic for vocal, guitar and percussion (rhythm shakers). Recording an electric guitar directly, and add a VST plugin. This mic is a large diaphragm condenser mic.
Now I'm looking for a mic, especially for recording an acoustic guitar.
A few question:
1. Is is correct that a small-diaphragm condenser mic will do the job the best?
2. Is there any difference in the gear I have to buy in order to record a classical guitar or an acoustic guitar?
3. Can you give me a recommendation for a specific model of mic around the $100?
4. What do you think about buying used recording gear online? From eBay for example?
I've already found these models: Shure PG81, and different MXL's, such as V67N, 551, 600, 603, 604, 991, 993.
What do you think about them?
Thanks in advance,
Yuval.
Hey,
Thanks for your fast reply!
Is there any trak you've ever uploaded including an acoustic guitar that you've recorded with you CAD's pair that you can send me a link?
Do you have any other recommendation by other manufacturers? It doesn't have to be only Shure and MXL - but I had a bad experience with CAD, that I just tried one of their items, and it came broken - and it took a lot of time to convince them to get it back and give me a refund..
And what do think about the specific models that I've mentioned in my previous message?
Thanks again,
Yuval.
I'll be home this weekend, so I can dig up a sample and send it to you! I don't have any experience with any of those models you've mentioned, but I can't imagine they would be any worse than my 217s. Hopefully someone else will see this and be able to give you some advice about the ones you mentioned!
