I need help for ableton it freeze after one minute of recording !

Hi,I have audiobox 22 vsl and a lap-top,and after few minutes of recording the whole thing freeze,i can restart the computer only,the whole thing happens again,if I turn of audobox Live 8 is working correct.I have tried to reinstall the asio drivers,but it works sometime,than it freeze again.I can go on moving in circles,can someone help ?
 
Ableton 8 is pretty stable, So I doubt it is the software (it could be but doubt it), this sound like there is a hardware issue. Check for the latest ASIO drivers from Presonus. Some of the older ones were a little flaky. I have ran the same system with now trouble. Win7 on a desktop. My daughter runs it on a laptop, she had some issues until we switched the drivers.

I would guess your problem is in the Audiobox. Update the drivers and check your buffer settings. You could also try different USB ports. But I would start with the drivers and work from there.

Thanx,I'll give it a try.Interesting audiobox works well on a pc no problems,its definetly a hardware issue.Maybe switch to win 7 will do well,I'm on Xp pack 1.I'll post here if it works.
 
I don't think it is XP as it seems I have read other using it on XP. I jumped off XP a few years back and like it so much, I couldn't go back to XP. If you do decide to go to XP, check your hardware and make sure it can make the jump. It should, but check.

I have download the latest driver from Ableton,set the buffer size with set the audio help manual in Live 8.Now it works just fine.Tanx again for your help
