I made a quick Numetal song

I liked it better before the 2nd guitar came in.
I like the intro riff. The verse riff is just run of the mill as is the third riff.
There's not much happening in bass definition beyond the intro. TOO MANY RIFFS mate.
I'd take the intro riff & work that into a song - even keep the 2nd guitar part in the intro & work those into a real song with some structure apart from breaks between riffs. There's tension & edge to the intro & it'd give you something like a metalled up Wire or similarly post punk non new wave interesting bands.
 
Which one do you call the intro riff? That unison I'm playing in an odd way?
 
bass sounds nice.
Kick and snare could do with a bit more hi end.
Guitars are cool. Personally I prefer a smoother sounding distortion but thats just personla preference.

Did anyone notice that I added phaser to the snare? Is it cool or gay?
 
It seems like the speakers are overdriven from the beginning guitar part being too loud. It sounds alright, but the kick drum could use some more click to it and snare could have some more high end(it sounds muffled).

It kind of reminds me of Coal Chamber.

DUDE haha that's exactly who I got it from! Good Job man. What do you mean over driven? It's supposed to have that screechy kinda feel. Listen to "Loco" by them.
 
I know... It sounds just like Loco, that fast guitar riff... And the stops and such... I meant the speakers are crackling like the guitar needed to be turned down.
 
I would add slap rather than click as I beleive this would suit the song.
Slap is at around 5k and click is at around 4K.

Boost the snare at around 3.5K for a nice punchy attack.

Dude, sounds cool. High energy.

Gutiars, maybe lower volume slightly.

The snare sounds cool with the phaser effect. It's not gay.

The bass could use some confining. It's a little boomy. Just a little. I have the same problem most of the time. :)

For the kick drum sound you can add gain at 5K on your EQ to add a punchier sound to the kick which will suit this song nicely. Or you can add gain at 4K for a more clicky sounding kick.
