I do these things sometimes... I'll have a "brilliant" idea for a domain name and then register it, only to never use it.

Like, when my room mate started a tongue-in-cheek campaign to drain the San Francisco Bay, and I registered drainthebay.org

... Except, I think these domain names could actually be used for something.

Hmm. I'll put it on the list of "Rainy Day Projects".

I actually thought about this a lot (a while back.) I think a full on analog recording site would be killer. The digital guys have "tweakheadz" and such but analog doesn't really have a central repository for information. Just a thought.

I don't think he meant abandoning the board entirely. I do see the upside of having an analog repository of sorts though.

I was thinking about maybe using the domain names to host a community and content related to analog-only experimental and electronic/acousmatic music, because that's what I'm personally into.

But, I've already got a couple of projects on my plate right now.

Well, no I found Jesus first. But before that Satan told me to buy these dot-com domain things and they would make me rich and powerful someday.. He suggested 8-inch.com, but he was kinda laughing and I didn't really know what it was supposed to mean.

Then I was talking to Jesus, on a bus tying to make His way home, just like the song said he might be. He told me 8-inch.com would not be cool, even though it might just be a mail-order bratwurst establishment, it still wouldn't be kosher. So I sold it to an Indonesian shoemaker specializing in spike heels for strippers. Hope I did the right thing.
