I got a good deal on some tape...

I own two pancakes of RMGI SM900 for my BR-20T and I've always known I was going to need to get some more, but I got a good deal on some tape...won't need to get any more 1/4" tape for awhile...

But we all know that just because the box has certain label on it doesn't mean that's what's inside...I took a risk on this purchase but I snapped it up in hopes that it really was what the seller said it was...so I opened it up and...yup...10 sealed pancakes of 1/4" x 2500' Quantegy GP9:

NOW...the big question is, how much $$$?? :confused:
 
Are you not knowing how you paid or are you asking us to guess?

If I had to guess, I'd say $100...based on you saying it was a "good deal"!

Ooo, good tape Cory. Not sure how much these went for at retail, my best guess about $300 for 10 pancakes. It was the best modern tape that was ever available, some would argue. But, as Jeff points out, based on you saying "good deal", I'd say you paid .... uh .... maybe half that? :confused: Any less I'd consider a steal! .......................;)

I suppose it all depends on what you're hungry for.

It is neither a Studer OR Rice-a-Roni, But it IS a very nice Technics 10.5" NAB 1/4" black anodized metal takeup reel!
