I'm about to crazy-go-nuts! Can you guys help me look for answers?
I tried laying down some vocal tracks today, and realized that I was getting a hum on the tracks. I plugged my headphones into the board and could hear it plainly. I listened closely in the monitors and could hear it. I turned off the board and could hear it in the monitors. I took a monitor through the house and plugged it into various outlets on different circuits and, SURPRISE! I got a the same low hum no matter where I plugged in.
I've looked at the outlet I'm using for my gear....everything seems to be wired properly. I tripped the breaker for the only dimmer switch in the house....the hum remains.
Any advice?
