and if it contains sounds will be better

only Fatar sl-880pro in my list

is there any other keyboard that has the funtion that i want????

I bought the M-Audio Keystation 88es and have been very happy with it, I put a review in this forum somewhere. It was a better deal than the Fatar for the features.

The ability to change the parameters (and thus tone) of a patch by changing how hard you press while holding a key.
If you used it and suddenly didn't have it, you'd miss it.

Well, that is one possibility, but you can do anything you want to program into the sound, like increase or decrease filters, add modulation, etc. Whatever you want. It is usually NOT used for volume, most often for modulation (vibrato).

yes i know about key station and it is very fascinating keyboard without aftertouch as you know

but i think aftertouch is important

if i can im gonna add more control like faders,nobbs from behringer and also
pedal controller

My suggestion is to buy german Doepfer PK88 or a better products from this company. I would not recommend cheaper Fatar keyboards since some people had problems with them and also M-Audio Keystation 88 where I read many bad reviews.

yes i checked Doepfer

but pk88 doesnt have aftertouch

and lmk2+and lmk4+ has good spec for masterkeyboard but the price is crazy
lmk2+ 1200$ and lmk4+ 1600$

korg triton le 88 has 88 hammer action keyboard with aftertouch
and has synthesizer but the price is 1800$

the product of doepher are good but so pricy

If you hunt keyboard, my answer is yes.
If you hunt sounds, I can not say yes.

As for sounds I would go to Kurzweil or Yamaha Motif

I don´t need 88 keys and hammer weighted keys and will go with the UF6 and 61 semi weighted / after touch keys.

Don´t buy plastic

I just bought the UF8 2 days ago!

I am from Hong Kong so lucky me we have several distributors here (actually there are more than only the one listed on CME's website)

It's amazing consider the price vs the functions/design of the keyboard. Only thing that worries me is the durability (well China does have a bad name in making electronic products... sorry to say even I am a Chinese LOL)

The hammer weighted touch is very nice, though it seems to me it plays a little bit softer than the other control keyboards. I tried playing some same passages I recorded before with similar touch (well can't repeat exactly but similar hehe) and from the MIDI file it appears all the velocity levels are a bit lower. But this is a plus IMHO if you are using it to play acoustic sampled instruments more than electronic samples.

I will work with it more in the coming few days, will let you know more!

I know I am out of date with my post but maybe it will help anyone else.

I am not a pianist with a classic musical education but a keyboard player with some time spent on classic pianos.

During last several years I played many digital pianos, master keyboards and classic pianos.

What I really recommend for studio work is Oberheim MC2000 or 3000. It is an ideal keyboard for those who are not a pianists because it has very light hammer action that is easily playable. People used to play digi pianos can have a problem with it since action of piano is much heavier but Oberheim is not for training of the technique but for long hours work in studio.

The keyboard is light and fast so it can be succesfully used for organs/strings/synths but it has also hammer action so it is great for piano sounds.

Next it has a huuuuuge amount of controllers (wheels, connectors, sliders, etc.) and the instruments body is made of steel so it is very solid.

I did not find any other product comparable to this unit.

Doepfer masters are also built like a tank but their keyboard is more close to semiweighted keyboards than hammer ones. Therefore it is good for organs but less suitable for pianos.

CME UF80 has a decent keyboard action, that is somehow similar to Oberheim but masters from this company are quite known by a many problems - both mechanical and electrical.

Digi pianos are not so suitable for work in studio because they do not have controllers and the keyboard action is too heavy for long work.

M-Audio products I take like a funny toy, not for real work. Played them several times and the action on both semiweighted and hammer keyboard is in my opinion terrible.

As for Fatars I made a bad experience with TMK88 where black keys played louder than white ones and also action generally was poor. After some time I sold it. Maybe higher models are usuable but I read many bad reviews on them.

To make it short I do not know any other so universal product comparable to Oberheim.

There is only one problem with Oberheim.

Their production was stopped and you can buy only last stocked units.

Several last units are sold at www.musicstore.de who is an official representaive of Oberheim for Europe and maybe on some other places.

I am glad you like you Obie controller but Oberheim went out of business in 1986 so I doubt musicstore is an official rep for them. What you have is actually an Italian Viscount controller

Gibson bought up the rights to the Oberheim name and licensed the name to viscount

The only viscount we ever see stateside is the "OB12" (which sounds nothing or has anything to do with Oberheim beyond its name) so those controllers are most likely a Euro only thing

I see that in my post it was not clearly described how it is with the origin of this keyboard. OK, let me clarify it:

You are right that Oberheim is no more in bussiness and the rights were passed on Gibson and later on Viscount.

This master keyboard was most probably produced in Italy and except for the logo "Oberheim" it has no connection to a closed american company.

I was in contact with Viscount people in Italy and they informed me, that a production of these master keyboards was stopped some time ago and now only stocked pieces are sold. I think that it has no connection with closing of american Oberheim.
