I AM DUMB!

hello everyone i am stupid and in need of help. this is also my first post. i have a 120 w pa system with a 4 channel mixer i also have a marshall 30 w 2 channel amp with a line out i am wondering if and how i can run my guitar through my amp and into my pa. if any one can help i just need some advice if this would make a good monitor or if i'm about to blow up all my stuff i did try this once and got no sound from my pa. thank brothers and sisters

You can line out to one of the PA's channel inputs, but it might not sound the way you want it to. If you have a mic like an SM-57, you can mic the amp into the PA, which I think will probably sound better. For me the mic sounds best when placed up against the amps grill, offcenter by an inch or two and at an angle.
