www.soundclick.com/nbtentertainment , Hustlers Anthem by Boys From The Southside/Kountry Boy Records.

A quick peep of the mix (threw an L3 at the end to boost for the net :( ) would be greatly appreciated. Once again, this is just a first mix of a track off their album by me, they are getting it mastered by Glen Schick @ www.gsmastering.com . All comments are welcome!

just wanted to hop on and say, props, i likes alot. nice flow.

im a fan, you sound a lot like my boy young jeezy. especially with all the filler (even though the generic "uhhh" may be getting slowly phased out of hip hop). maybe turn the vocals down a touch, the beat needs some more room. but i like it.

...

Thx for the replies guys! That's not me rapping though, i'm just engineering their debut album for them. I'll pass the good reviews on to them though!

Yeh definately a hot song, the vocals get a bit too loud after the intro though in my opinion. The intro volume for the vocals was perfect

What up JB. The music sounds good, did y'all 2 track this one? The vocal could sit on the track a little better. I would have done either ad lib tracks ,or doubled their vocals. Did you use any reverb on the vocal mix? I had stuff mastered by Glen before, he's good.

Nice track. 808 is good. Ya, vocals might need some add libs... Flow reminds me of Juvenile...

Agree on the vocal levels, I'm feeling the song though...hot beat too. Really feeling the hook...

Damn u got some heat man and u sellin real good. datz whatz up. I will def have some artist comin your way. Get at me sometimez.

Preciate the replies yall! Yea, the vox are a tad too high but the customers wanted it that way... and you know how that goes. For some reason the Truth 2031a's make it hard to really judge how verb comes across on vox and instruments so imma try to remedy that when I get the events, dyna's, or genelecs soon. They didn't really wanna do as many adlibs on this track compared to their others, they wanted a more focused approach. Thx again for the comments though!
