gotcha!! i should be finally finishin it up now - i lost all my plugins and access to 2 of my hard drives -- bugs, germs, viruses - that shit is killa - but now im back on track - except for that funeral i gotta attend -
but the track is on its way!!!!

Gully, I don't know if you have external drives, man they come in handy also invest in McAfee that is supposed to be the Best out. Norton is a pain in the ass.
 
yea it was installing an external drive that helped make everythign go bezerk - i still dont have access to that damm external drive !! but anyway

I think we can make that. We've got the tracks plus a couple of more coming....I think that'll work, especially if everyone is either burning the CDs themselves or sending people online to get the whole compilation.

well i first wanted a singer (m or f) who could listen to the song and "come up" with a hook on their own . . . off "feelin" what i spit . . . then i settled on havin a singer (m or f) who would sing the actual hook that i dropped -- the "singin" of the words "more time . . . thats all i need"

at this point - i really think im gonna go for little old me . . . harmonizin the words - n just work at gittin the "levels" as best i can . . . some of the other singers wanted to OWN the song if they dropped their own vocals - i was like "own"? ?? ?? @#$%#@!$@#!$

im tryin to play with turnin the hook up louder vs. turnin the whole song down lower vs. compression, etc. . .

but if u really got some singers - still holla - i MUST have at least one song with a bona fide singer on it!!!!

Gully I got a vocalist that is going to check that part out and let me know. are you married to the chorus you wrote ? or can she get creative.PM me and let me know if your going to send me some of the beat and what the track limitations are if any and we can get this done !
 
Gully I don't see where you need a bonafide vocalist, I thought you did well enough on the hook. Only unless you are trying to go in the direction of changing the hook entirely to the point where you'll need pipes! My "2"
 
thanks for the feedback trump - im cool wit the hook - and really would only change something . . . for the better . . . but at the same time - i plan to "perform" this song . . . so i kinda need either a hook tha t i can perform or a singer that can git wit me on stage (which thus far has been next to impossible)
