Sorry peeps.. i didn't mean to exhume this but flat has been giving me etiquette (sp?) edikit?? .. whatever .. etiquit lessons and I wanted to rectify this. My apologies people.
W.I.S.C - Thanks WISC yeah I was shocked when they told me about that click in the background. It was a weird issue with Cakewalk sending signal to two different soundcards simultaneously. What does W.I.S.C stand for?
muze - Thank you. I am using an Aardvark20/20 for the pre. I liked the dual XLR or 1/4 inch inputs and the built in phantom power (although I have no mic yet that uses phantom, here's to hoping one day) and the virtual console software. What I don't like is the software mixer / compressor / eq that it comes packaged with are awful. I won't use em, but the reverb however is good if you want to add some to help you get into the song more while tracking. I don't have enough experience with other cards to know whether I'm hurting or helping myself here.
SluiCe - Yeah I admit there's a lot you could do with this. I guess I wanted to keep this as true to my open mic performance as possible. I really stuck to that at the end

. Thank you, see you at HRC #3.
wfaraoni - Thanks wf. There was this guy Pete who used to come down and play the congos with me sometimes. He always added soooo much to my sets. I'm gonna have to get him in front of a mic one day.
yiordanki - Thank you for your comments and listen. I got to your questions in an earlier post.
Toki987 - Thank you toki, yeah i'm not so depressed anymore about only having those two mics. It forces me to get more creative but it's not the end of the world.
Llarion - I'm wondering about that intro. If anyone outside the clinic hears it they're probably going to be like "WTF??". Thanks for the listen.
Gidge - Thank you man of highest post count i've ever seen. Yeah if you don't have one of those Pantera voices you gotta make do.
Track Rat - Yup I laid on the verb thick at the end. This was before I learned how to not do destructive edits in cakewalk. Live and learn. Thanks for your listen and comments.
erichenryus - Thank you erichenryus. Yup i since rectified that guitar panning. It's that weird cakewalk bug. It keeps resetting my faders and pans to certain "ghost snapshots". I will clear the event list 100 times and scour my tracks for 0 size samples and STILL I find these jumps in there. It usually starts happening for me after I hit 25 tracks.
Meshuggah - Thank you Mesh. Yep I didn't know that clicking was in there. I'm pretty deaf.
Jamal Bucket - Haha! Thank you Jamal, good luck with that falsetto work.
here's the secret. 1 set of testicles 2 cinder blocks
LAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
flat-9 - Thank you for your attention and comments. The guidance too.
M.Brane - AIC?? Thanks man! I love them, ESPECIALLY SAP.
Man i wish!
jake-owa - Haha! Didn't you read my first post? It's open-mic style. Thanks for the listen jake, you are cracking me up in the cave man.
Doug H - Thank you Doug, you was the first to alert me to that clicky thing. I tried to fix it where I could. A lot was embedded in vocals tho. I guess I could retrack, maybe one day.
groucho - Yep, after pondering I'm probably gonna just leave it as is. Why not right? Thank you for your listen and comments.
