I don't play on it, nor did I track it. Just mixed (earlier)/mastered (just now) it today.

Warning. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....Well, there are playing "issues". Anyway, the song has potential! I sure wish they had a budget for me to "fix" the "issues".

I might have pushed the mastering stuff I bit too much. Hmmmmmmmm....Hard to tell. My ears are fried after 10 hours of mixing.

Anyway. Enjoy.

Nice. There's a weird ringing coming off of the snare that I am totally digging the hell out of. Honestly, that was my favorite part of the whole sound.

Yeah. It is a distorted snare sample I layered on. I thought it sounded "industrial"! :)

Thanks for the listen.

This is a very confused band! ;)

Here is the other song I mixed today.

The tuning issues kill me! That clean guitar was mangled like that, so, not my fault!

I heard both songs and the band has potencial indeed :)

Has some problems, thou i dont know its because of the mp3 version, the first track seens to be lacking of simple mid frequencies
Not a big thing, it just felt that the voices and drums were a little bit lown compared to the rest of the song
About "Thats Life" i found that it was good, like you pointed there is some tuning problems, but nothing exagerated
Overall i like it :)

I must warn that all my coments may be ignored easily :p , cause right now, i cant listen on my monitors...its actually one crappy speaker :D

Ed, both of these sound good to me. You seemsed to cram a lot of life into these MP3's. Very full sounding. Levels on the different parts meshes well with all teh other parts. Nice space. Lots of punch to the drums on both tunes. Did you do these in Sonar?

Oh, and Happy Birthday man....

Yeah, I mixed (sort of) in Sonar. We actually "stem" out tracks to a Manley mixer and record onto a Masterlink.

Here is a link to the studio.
