Pretty good man :)

Needs a fat bassline though.

Agree with that. Needs something more to make it groove - more rhythm. Mix was good with what you had, but there's not enough music going on.

I didnt do the music, thats a mainstream, multi million dollar track from I dont know who.

My friend just wanted to hear my equipment so he brought me an instrumental by whoever to record on, I record mostly vocals.

I suppose I should have been more specific...

With that being said, do the vocal recording and vocal mixing sound ok...?

I know theres not much to judge by, being a small verse and mediocre talent, but do you think I have a pretty decent sound...

OHH my god That is Lil' Scrappy's track "No Problem"..... and the vocals are sitting in a akward space in the stereo mix and they are too loud .....I can' believe no one knows what track that is. Wow i can tell there are not that many hip hop fans around here

BAHAHAHAHAHA...I knew there was a reason I skipped this.

Can you say Karaoke?

What do you mean an akward space in the stereo mix?

I know they are a little loud, I only did one mix as it was nuthing special, I never went back to it to do a second mix or mix any further...

And jake-owa, do you mean Karaoke as in the vocal/recording quality, or just the fact its on an instrumental...?

I just wanted some feedback on the mix and quality of the sound...

All input is appreciated...

So If I posted the accapella with the music muted, Id get more reviews...?

I mean, people do cover songs, or produce beats, and lay a mainstream vocal over it, and they get feedback...

I just wanted to know how the vocal recording sounded...

Just the quality and mix...

As far as a akward space... the vocals aren't stting in the middle stereo mix the track sounds like its far off and the vocals are clear...but its all good
