How to get a better professional sound while recording?

Swell! Very busy boy these days! 4 current projects and one waiting to start. Recorded a blues festival a few weeks ago and that might turn into a bunch of work mixing a compilation CD. 2-3 nights a week of live sound mixing too. Then I started refing high school soccer matches and do about 4-7 games a week with that.

How about you? The studio staying busy?

I have been spending most of my time (and money) remodeling my house. I have one project in process where I bartered studio time for tile laying time. I have another band scheduled for Nov; projects are slow but steady. Do you miss the van?

Things haven't changed much over there since I left.
The mic forum's a strange and scarey place! :D I feel safer in the cave than in the mic forum. Every once in a while I'll cautiously stick my head in the door and then jerk back to avoid the flying furniture.
Pretty friendly in the MP3 forum and that's where the music's happening. ;)

Isn't funny how so many musicians do construction work? LOL

It was a motor home actually, and while I don't miss the cramped space, I miss the totally flat acoustics, and certainly miss the Ghost console....:(

Got a better situation going on right now anyway with far less hassle for me.
