You probably know the Presonus central station;
http://www.presonus.com/centralstation.html

Id like to connect svs sub (C output) which has L/R RCA inputs to Presonus with 2 active monitors (A output).Yes the sub has crossover inside.

If i get it right i need Y cable with 2 stereo jacks on one and 1 RCA on other side, right?Well this tipe of cable doesnt exist here.

It says in sub manual you can connect it to receiver with either of inputs (L or R), so only RCA to RCA cable is needed, but what should i do since i have the Presonus?

Yo SerGO:

Contact a cable specialty maker, maybe Markertek.com and they will make any type cable you need. Look on the net.

However, there must be an easier way to connect, like patch cables from RCA to whatever you need. Sometimes you can find the right cable at Radio Shickles. [I don't go there often as they overcharge for stuff.]

Green Hornet :D

You should just need a pair of cables with 1/4" jacks on one end and RCAs on the other. The RCA inputs on your sub aren't balanced, so you don't need to worry about having balanced cables. I wouldn't think it would be a problem. I would use both sub inputs, though, in case one of the channels in your material is more bass-heavy than the other for some reason.

Right, i thought i would need those.Thanks!

Ok now does anyone know is it possible that i SHOULD have balanced jacks anyway??Balanced stereo jack on one side and rca on other?

Is there any difference between Jack and TRS Jack?

Im asking this because i have serious problems with my sub-presonus connection and so far i hope theres a problem in my cable.

We are solving my problem on other forum and found out that theres not much to do, except to use different cable.
I put gain on the sub to max and its not that loud.It should blow me away users of the same tipe of sub told me.Thats the problem.

So please answer if you know.

I would use two cables from the Presonus to go to the sub. If your sub really only has one inout, then use an adaptor (like a 2 female rca to single male rca adaptor) to go into the sub. This gives you a down and dirty mono sub signal. If the volume is still that low, check the calibration of the speaker outputs on the Presonus. I had one for about 3 days once. If I remember right, the Central Station has small output pots for each speaker out. Maybe those are down to low?

Ok ill try that mono option as soon as i get appropriate cable, converter.

No, the sub has 2 (L and R) RCA low level inputs and outputs and 1 high level input and 1 high level output.

-Is it possible that i should conncet the sub via its high level input?

Presonus only has speaker trim control but it doesnt help.

If any of those options wont help than i have 2 incompatible sistems.Ill have to return the sub and buy some monitor sub.
