Heres my question. How the *&^$ do you tune a roland sh-101? And I'm not talking about the tune knob!!!!! Does any one know the procedure of how to tune the oscillator? There are 8 phillips screwdriver tuning screws labeled v1 throug v-8 on the synth board inside. They all affect the tuning somehow. Kinda like....when you turn v-1 to tune one key, say C, it messes up the tuning of another key. Then when you turn v-2 to tune the out of tune key, another key on the keyboard is out of tune. Is this for real?!?!? Or, is it now that the sh-101 is totally out of tune, it basically can only be used as a special effects "bleep and bloop" machine? If anybody in the frikkin' world knows what I'm even talking about, and how to tune this thing..... can you please be kind enough to explain the procedure to me. Or direct me to a website that explains it maybe.... ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

have you tried calling roland ? ask for the old dude that works in the archives and gives disapproving looks to all the younger USB yahoos that work there now and will probably welcome the opportunity to reminise about "how real synths used to be" when he was the chief tech in the workshops in the early 80's . I bet he'll be able to tell you how to tune it ;)

Find a service manual. The procedure is there. You will need a meter that will detect frequency
