Off of my Toshiba Satellite laptop, I'm running with a dreaded 5400 rpm hard drive, 3GHz, and 1.5GB of memory. Runs great, just wish I had the money to upgrade to a non-portable desktop with the same specifications. :-p

in 1977 my grandfather had a computer with 64 kilobytes and 5 video terminals and ran a successful manufacturing business with a couple hundred employees.

good thing we all have gigs of memory!
