Daddy-O Daddy-O Baby
to answer a new Microphone forum query thread?
Answer:
15.
One to offer a less than helpful, wise guy response that points out his superior understanding while showing disdain for the vagueness and newbness of the original question,
One to point out that this question is dealt with ad nauseum in the sticky thread and doesn't anybody use the search function any more, honestly?
One to offer a helpful and informed response and oh, by the way, how about visiting my site and buying some cheap omni mikes?
One to offer the benefit of decades of pro audio experience when he really ought to be helping his son Alex get some work done in the studio,
One to suggest that using Studio Traps to treat the sound at the mike would avoid having this problem in the first place,
One to post another picture of that kid holding up that piece of paper with yet another clever insult scrawled across it,
One to temporarily hijack the thread into another pointless digital versus analog argument,
One to point out that if we could just avoid screwing things up too much in the first place, the all-knowing mastering engineers could save your bacon from the fire, thank you very much,
One to post another complaint about unsigned negative rep from... oops, sorry this is the wrong thread! Nevermind.
One to recommend that the original poster consider buying one or two channels of "gold",
One to recommend buying an RNC...
Hmmm, that's only 11.... oh, yeah...
One to resurrect the thread two years and five months later in order to ask a marginally related question, rather than just starting a new thread, and start the whole thing up again, as if the previous discussion hadn't even taken place, because everyone's forgotten it,
One to point out just how old a thread this really is,
One to clarify, in case anyone's forgotten, that he does, in fact, hate jambands, and, of course,
Walters. We miss you.
Merry Christmas, good HR folk, and here's mud in your eye!
Cheers,
Otto
