How do you say DAW

Don't think I've ever said 'DAW' but when I think about it, it's as in the first thing you said
 
Its. D......A.........W Say the letters not the word. I have heard a few people say DAW as in Dawson, but 99% of the time the just say D-A-W
 
I've always said it like a word and not spelled out the letters.

I always say:
D.A.W

If you were to talk about HIV do you say 'Hiv' -no, you say H.I.V by the letter not word form.

Hey, I say Hiv.

I also say Aye Eye Dee Ess for AIDS.
 
I just say "Daw"... Who the hell has time to say "Dee Ay Double You? Sometimes I say "HD System"... Occasionaly it's "that damed box" or "the Heater."

But I always spell it N-U-E-N-D-O.

Syllables, syllables, I hate syllables.

DAW, one syllable version.

HIV, one syllable version

AIDS, one syllable also.

If I wanted to impress my friends, I'd say "Dee Aye Double You".

If I wanted to impress my friends and was Canadian, I'd say "Dee Ehh? Double You".

BTW, isn't "Aye" pronounced "I"? Whatever.

'Digital Audio Workstation"

Most everybody I know doesn't know what it means or they think it's something real cool. It's better than DUH (I'm tired of that joke) or computer recording.
 
I thought the question was how do you pronounce the acronym: DAW

not what do you refer to your Digital Audio Workstation as...
