Seek help in "consolidating" tracks in cubase, for export to protools, via dvd;
I have seen a "consolidate" function in other programs, but not in cubase, can anyone help me. Thanks.

I don't think there is consolidating function in Cubase. Alternatively, export each track to wav and import into protools session. That's normally i do.

Are you wanting to take each/all of many tracks or just a stereo master?

This is what I did, and it worked just fine. First, make a copy the whole project folder. Open the copied project. Then, make sure that your tracks all start at time 0. You may have to edit tracks with silence if you did a punch in, and then bounce them to track. Once you've done this to all tracks, make sure they're named appropiately so you're not dealing with file names like "audio01_06", but instead "lead guitar fill", etc. Finally, open the pool and trash everything not in use so its no longer in your audio folder. Finally, copy the audio folder to dvd.

When you open the protools session, you can just import the dvd to session, and you'll have all your tracks, at their appropriate place and properly named.
