I hate to bother you Chris or dobro, but how do I listen to wavs in waveform view from my monitors instead of my regular computer speakers? On the tracking screen I switch between monitors and computer speakers by going to Options> Device Order. I can't seem to find a place to switch them in waveform view.

Same thing, lol...

Man, not working...The monitors are selected but they play back on my speakers! How odd...

Unplug your computer speakers if they don't have an off switch.. I am assuming that you have power amp for your monitors of powered monitors?

Yeah, on the tracking screen they playback from my Yorks.

lol...see, this is why I don't change my own oil in my car.

Until this thread, I had no idea that you could use this freaking software to route the playback devices, lol.

I typically monitor through 3 sources these days. Mainly, Event nearfield monitors, but also through headphones (out of my soundcard, AND...recently...I hooked up a cheap boombox, but I split it off from my monitors and manually change out the leads when I wanna' hear how the mix sounds "in the real world."

lmao. I see now that I have about 8 outs on my soundcard...

Never...I mean NEVER...listen to anything I say, okay?

Ok, one more try.

In the edit view chose Options > device properties > Then look at the pic below

Check that box so in Edit View it will use the correct play back device. MIGHT work.. :D
