My problem started when i created a new session is protools7.
I created my session as a 44k(samplerate) session. The problem is that before any production took place i somehow switched the digirack/rosetta to 48k. After production i relized my error and now bounceing session to disk will result in a slow product. With much regret i upsampled my work and would a appreciate any help or workaround besides buying another system to record it.

Thankyou

no need to buy another system.
there are two ways I know of.
First way is the Digi recommended way:

The solution to this problem (with Pro Tools 6 or higher) is to go to Windows>Show Workspace and locate the audio files on your drives. Once you locate them, scroll over to the 'Sample Rate' column for those audio files and change the sample rate to the correct sample rate for the files - in the above case, they'll show '44100', so just change them to '48000'. Then close the session, create a new session at the correct sample rate of 48k and, from the File menu, choose 'Import Session Data' and point it to the original session file. You'll then be able to import the tracks from the original session, exactly as you had it set up in that session, along with the audio files. Make sure to choose the option to 'Copy All Media' and uncheck the option for 'Apply SRC' (sample rate conversion). You'll then have a new session that will play back correctly.

Another way is to use a program called Soundhack (Mac only)

It may take you a few minutes to figure out, but open each audio file and change the sample rate to the appropriate one, then save as a new audio file. Just create a folder on your desktop and save the new files into it, then when you're done, create a new session in PT and import the new audio files into your session. That should fix it.
I've never done it the Soundhack way, but I know others who have successfully.
