Yeah, it's terrible the shortcuts you take when you just want to get a track down. :( There's a Morley volume/wah pedal just sitting right there and I plug in the Line 6 Pod. :eek:

There are some awesome cover tunes being posted. :)

My second oldest daughter chose Don Henley’s version of Come Rain Or Come Shine for the father/daughter dance at her wedding in 1996. In 1997, I recorded my own version and gave it to her and my son-in-law a CD as gift for their first wedding anniversary. They’re still married. My guess is….they never listened to the CD. :D:D

This was recorded to a Tascam 424 mk III. I left the tape hiss and bass distortion on it for cjacek. ;)

Yeah, cool! What I've posted at SC is stuff that spans over 25 years of home recording! You could probably do better renditions of the all stuff I've covered in a couple months of concerted effort, plus all the great photoshopped images on top of it, which are a blast!

Thank you! Yeah, it was a stab at Paul. You guys know I have to do the simple stuff, due to my limited musicianship. "Vibe" plays a bigger role in simpler songs than with something that relies virtuoso chops (RAMI). The "acoustic" is a DI on my Squier Bullet, middle pickup, cleanish gain setting & with a close mic on the body for that live "snap". When I use this technique it often fools people that it's "acoustic", but I've used acoustic on plenty of other songs.

Greg L's stuff is always enviable in many ways.

Dwillis's stuff is very impressive on many levels.

Variaxman's stuff is an unstoppable force!

Kylosius's offering is well played, well produced & is a bit more stripped like my own stuff.

True just amazes me with 30,000 posts in 2 years!

Hey Snake...you got that rauchey Marc Bolen guitar vibe goin' on here! Has your unique vocal stylings which is cool by me, nice touch with the harp at the end;).....love this tune, was also thinking of taking a stab at this one or Jeepster.....T-Rex rocks, and so do you on this...great job!
