I think we haven't had one of these for a while, though I might be wrong....and I'm not sure if Greg, the Master-O'-Covers, was around last time we had a dedicated cover thread.


So, if you got 'em, post 'em.

I'll start with one of mine. I have a few others, but we'll spread them out.

Alice Cooper's "NO MORE MR. NICE GUY"
 
Here's a YouTube vid of us doing Eye of the Tiger. We did this as a tribute to our dear friend Frank Scott who passed away of cancer last year. He was quite ill at the time so we really only had one evening to put this together. He passed away 2 days later.

I recorded this live while running sound for some great friends of mine, 3 piece straight up rocking band, a couple Cheap Trick covers back to back.

I just ran from the inserts on a Mackie 1604 VLZ to trascks on my ADAT HD24 and set the gain pots for record levels. Added a pair of stereo room mics too.Haven't really mixed on it much, spent about 20-30 mins on this so far.

Beerhunter....a very touching tribute to your friend. That was a wonderful thing you did for him and those who love him. I am sure they all treasure this priceless gift of memory and love.

Thanx alot, guys. That's me doing everything. Did it about a year ago.

Some nice tunes so far.

The "Eye of the Tiger" tribute is great. And nicely done.

The Cure, Tom Petty....all great covers. Looks like an 70-80's festival so far.
 
Oh shit! I'm out of the Cave. :eek: I feel so liberated. :p
