Wow... pretty broad question. Can you give more specifics? Size of rooms... type of floor (hard/soft)... wall material... ceiling material.. etc. etc. etc.

one room is 10ft x 10ft other is around 12.5ft x 7.5ft..

which would you reccommend for each control + live?

That's like asking "how do I make my car faster?"
"What kind of car do you have?"
"A red one!"

:D

Need more details my friend...

ceiling heights, and is it sloped... how is the rooms laid out, which way is the mixing position facing, what treatments if any do you have now, how are the walls constructed? Ceiling? Floors? What's the structure underneath all the finishing and trim? Is there wood in the room?

A picture is worth 1000 words... even if you have to struggle with something crappy like Microsoft Paint, at least it will give a better idea of what you're seeing advice on...

Help us help you!

Sans,

You need acoustic treatment, and in that 10x10 room you especially need a lot of bass trapping. I suggest you have a look at the Acoustics FAQ, second in the list on my Articles page:

Then feel free to follow up with any questions.
