shure beta sm58: between snare and hi-hat
2 shure sm58's: one on each tom (floor, and high)
1 shure bg 1.1: bass drum then through a bass amp into the mixer

bass:

hartke HA4000 - preamp out into computer

guitar:

shure sm58 up to guitar amp - into comp

vocals:

from shure sm58 mic to vocal processor then into comp

Just listened. Bass sounds real solid. The kick drum could use more of a thump to it. The vocals are hard to understand. Maybe push them up and gleen some effect off of them. Back up vox are very nice and sit well. I think thier is some clipping going on. Maybe the git track is a little hot. All in all, I'd say everything sounds pretty solidly recorded and you a good start on the mix.
Just my humble impressions. Nice job. Needs some tweaking.

The guitar and bass do sound good. The drums sound ok but could use some work. I don't really like the way you have them EQed. I think that you should move the the cymbals and highhat up. There is plenty of room for them in the higher frequencies. I don't really care for the vocals at all. The effects need to go. Don't be afraid to turn them up either. I wish I could give you better advice but vocals are my trouble area too.

From the listener's perspective it sounds like you are standing right next to the guitar amp and the drums and singer are about 200 yards away.

Overall I really like the sound. Keep it up!

I listened and...

think you need to bump the lead vocal WAY up in the mix...maybe take some of the effects off the vocal as well. Drums and bass are ok as they relate to each other, but the dirty guitars are buried behind the drums and bass. Clean guitars are nicely done.
