sorry, for polluting the board..but I just had to post this.
I have not seen cooler thing than this one in a long time: Zeiss-Ikon amp .... that's for use as 'hi-fi home stereo amp' ?!!!! What, do you hang it on the wall? Or what? :D

Crap, I can't even imagine what something with so much substance would sound like. I think the speakers and whatever playing device you would use in a stereo listening system would have to be something high(remember, it is 4-20 today) and mightly to get the best out of this. Weakest link in the signal chain...well it sure as hell wouldn't be this. :eek: :eek: :eek:

Yeah! :) I would pay movie-ticket-fee just to hear that thing while seeing it in person face-to-face :D Since in addition to being located over the ocean the price also clearly went up from movie-ticket-fee level :eek: ... so I better stop drooling now :( and forget about it.
Now, I guess, The only alternative way to find out how something like this with so much substance would sound would be to obtain THIS (or similar :D ) and stuff it with appropriate substance. That gives me some "scientific" ideas ... lol :D

a side note:
MD! (and to all other good ppl!) First of all THANKS for turning me bloodless again! (not to say that it changed a single bit my facial expression) :D
Second: Tubes and ton of metal isn't pollution for Analog Only, however too much of e-bay IS (imho) :eek: ... so that's what I mean , I guess
 
Truly a BEWDIFULL piece.
Hung on the wall (with a bit of frame reinforcement behind 1st) it'd be pure art I'd love to a) own it b) hear it & c) see it glowing from within with those tubes light up.
But what speakers would do it justice?

For a moment I misread things having read seeker then madaudio - I mis read things as crap in envelope. I'll have to get my snyapes fixed or my syntax - which ever is less painful.

I know what you're saying, but isn't it amazing, the things you wouldn't even know existed if it weren't for ebay.
