your sexual orientation in hip-hop matters if you are openly gay or could be outed by gay friends and you are making beats for thug rappers as opposed to conscious rappers.

and here's why.

you're thug rapper X-box.

your street cred it correct. you've been shot more times than 50 cent, you've been arrested for gun possession more times than fabolous, smoke more blunts than Red Man, throw up gang signs prettier than Snoop, and got a crazy crip walk like Dub-C.

then... just when your track is burning up the radio...

some radio 'personality' like huggy lowdown or wendy announces that you are gay and have AIDS and you got it from your homosexual producer who is also your lover. so every hater from your area jumps on the opportunity to provide credibility to the 'news'... and you are gay by association.

also, if you producer is openly gay, you could never put him in your video.

i'm not talking about making beats for b2k, i'm talking about thug music.

if openly gay men can't crack the r&b world, what makes you think they can crack murder music?

if you want your beats to sell, keep your tendencies on the DL.

IF YOU OPEN UP YOUR INTRO WITH... "HOMOSEXUAL RAPPER" then GUESS WHAT........ you are a homosexual WAY BEFORE ANY RAP IS CONSIDERED.......... same as Britney is a fucking hottie (to us heteros) Way before she is a singer.

I NEVER understood why gay people carry this HUGE GAY PRIDE BANNER AND WAVE IT IN YOUR FACE and then wonder why everyone looks at them like they are different... guess what..... when you brag about how different you are...... you are different TRY SAYING... I AM A RAPPER....... I'd remember you as a rapper... since you said proudly I AM A HOMOSEXUAL RAPPER.... you are no longer just a rapper. You are a gay guy. My advice, be undercover gay like Ricky Martin!! Hell you gay guys can tell from a mile away who smokes the meat, so DON'T MAKE IT YOUR LABEL!!
