I remember when I was 15! I thought I was the baddest mofo on the planet!! As a matter a fact, I still do!!
 
give the guy a break. hes starting a project studio and wants to get enough stuff together to start doing some decent recording. not everyone can afford to go out and buy all the gear and building materials in one go.

This pretty much sums it up... dang.. when I was his age, I was convinced that I knew more than every single person I came in contact with... and don't even get me started on how much "more" I knew than my parents...

Fair enough but noone critisized him for that. In fact everyone jumped in to give him some thoughts on how to get the most out of what he had. It was his hateful attitude that brought the critisism and rightfully so. And BTW, $12k is a shitload more money than what I had to spend. If you've got $12k and a space to use.........you can do a pretty nice home rig.

well... im not a musician so time in a commercial studio wouldn't help much, college; parents, booze and whores; that works

I get the feeling there are indeed people on this board posting under different names, even to themselves on threads. Like if their in discussion with you, and you're not agreeing suddenly a new member pops up who's talking and reacting exactly the same to back up the other.

Do some of you now double namers?
