Anyway! Dachay, that sounds amazing! The solo is where I thought it is intended to be, the next thing is the sax-solo (according to the original).

OK. FWIW, I thought it started a little early because it steps on Jagular's vocal a little bit (IOW it starts before Jag is done singing). However, when I moved it back, it didn't go with the music (of course).

I gotta say, I passed this around to a few people here in the office and it's a big hit already. Just wait unitil it's all done!!!

I got told by one girl that I sing better than Vince Gill. Well, that's debatable, but now if I could only play guitar half as well as he does, I'd be in buisiness.

I also didn't tell them about the little bit of studio help that Mike put on my vocal ;). Another first in my life. First time ever subjected to Autotune. It's such a proud day :D I am determined that the final vocal track won't need any. We will have to wait and see :D

Anyway, nice work guys. This is sounding pretty good already. :)
 
Wow, Its come together pretty well in spite of my input :D

The only suggestion I'd like to add is that it is missing that Signature muted guitar sound that runs throughout which is a key element to the songs feel. Once again I've been absolutely swamped with work and I dont think Ill have the time to try to put that little thing together but if I do by some small chance Ill give Ya a shout.

Its so nice to be able to just download something :) instead of fighting with uncooperative servers and stuff

Thanks Bill :D. Vince has a pretty sweet voice to be sure. You guys are going to get me seriously back into singing again yet!!

I won't be attempting to track the final vocal take for at least a week. Probably longer. Better figure two weeks. I have a cold right now and my Mom is coming to visit tomorrow through next Tuesday. So, I can't sing (especially this song) right now, and I probably won't be able to break away for enough serious time to get this vocal right until she's gone. So, Bill, there is some time there. I agree with you. The muted guitar part would add to this nicely.

IMHO, You're alot better than him, John... :) And with those acoustic guitars you mentioned to have... you are lot way better :D

It's the first thing comes to my mind when I joined the collabs :D I even post it that I was gonna do this part by then... but then again the Almighty dachay said I should let gazillion guitarist out there to do it... oh well... :p :D :D :D

That was before I knew they were all scairdy-cat, little momma's boys, guitarists like acidrock and Paul881 who were too chicken to participate in the collaboration. :D :D :D :D

So we end up with James, violinist and keyboardist, playing the drums. And Dachay, guitarist, playing keyboards.

Makes sense to me. :D
